Depicted in rich hues of red, the female figure shown sitting in the armchair is exemplary of Pablo Picasso's skill in conveying multiple points of perspective within one work. Seated in a green geometric, dimensional armchair, the woman's body is comprised of rounded and sharp-edged shapes while her face is streaked with white. The placement of her eyes and nose indicates her gaze is directed both toward the viewer and toward her right simulataneously. With Estate-approved Picasso signature printed below image.
