This print was created in 1974 by Herman Wechsler to be included in his portfolio "Twenty Four Masterpieces of Graphic Art", in which he created prints after what he considered to be the most important works in the history of graphic art. Both nude, the two figures in this Pablo Picasso print are bathed in sunlight as they work beside a large window opening to a series of gardens and fields. Rendering the likeness of the model standing before him, the nude sculptor works in clay as the model stands facing him. See less
