This very realistic watercolor depicts duck decoys. The colors are rich and saturated. The composition makes wonderful use of shadow and light to give definition and dimension to each decoy. The painting is on heavy watercolor paper. It has a simple acid-free mat and metal frame. The painting and mat are in very good condition. The frame is in fair/good condition, with a few scratches.

Patricia Hunter was born and raised in California. She began painting when she was 18 years old and at 21, she entered her first show. The response to her work was phenomenal. Encouraged by friends and family, and her obvious love of animals, especially endangered species, provided her the impetus to depict them in a unique and magnificent way. Patricia has received both bachelors and masters degrees from San Jose State University, San Jose, California.
