Renowned French ceramist, Jean-Claude Courjault will create all his production in Keraluc until the 1970s. He appreciates the salt sandstone technique consisting in vitrify ceramics By adding salt during cooking, giving his works a characteristic texture.
This vase is a very beautiful achievement which has a conical trunk surmounted by a corolla head and a polychrome vegetable decor accompanied by geometric engravings.
It is signed under the point at the tip. We find the following inscription: "J.CL Courjault - Graduate of Beaux Arts - Keraluc - Unique piece".
This work, inspired by nature, combines blue tones and a gradient of chestnuts. Original and unique, this vase will find room in a warm interior.
