Up for sale is a tall Chinese Yingqing or Qingbai (light celadon) glazed porcelain funerary urn decorated with molded serpent-dragon, flying crane and deer motifs, a hat-shaped lid with a finial in crane form, Song Dynasty, 960-1279 AD.
In overall good condition with some firing imperfections such as a lute line and unevenness of glaze; some glaze losses, crazing and degradation as a result of extended burial, minor repair to the lid, see photos for more details.
