This is a French, 19th-century walnut low table, what would be commonly known as a coffee or cocktail table in modern usage. Made circa 1840 and put together with wood peg joinery, the top surface is made of two wide boards sitting over an apron with a single drawer that has an iron ring pull. All sit on straight tapered legs with a notch around the top. Cleaned and polished with French paste wax to bring out its patina. Please view the detailed images to see more.
