Designed in 1961 by Marc Lalique - the "Elisabeth" vase pays homage to Rene' Lalique's love of nature. Sparrows nestled in foliage adorn this satin finished crystal vessel.
Currently still produced, a new Lalique "Elisabeth" vase retails for $895. Founded a century ago in Alsace France - Lalique artisans produce unique crystal objects d'art moulded from molten glass. Which are hand finished with up to 40 proprietary steps prior to completion.
This vintage late 20th century edition retains its original interior and bottom labels. Along with ia hand inscribed etched signature. However it no longer has it's original box. Measures 5.25" high x 6" in diameter at its widest point.
In immaculate - like new - almost perfect condition. No chips, cracks, clouding. etching, or scratches of note. See photos for details.
