Vintage French Country Two Handle Floral Needlepoint Cricket Foot Stool. This wonderful old footstool has a shabby chic black painted wood design and is in very good condition with a few minor scratches and dings as a result of age and normal use.
This stool was used as a seat for small children or for an adult to rest their feet on.
The Needlepoint is quite lovely and in very good condition with a black background and a red, pink, green, brown, orange and white floral design.
“Footstools” or “Cricket Stools” as the contemporary market refers to them have been the darling of antique dealers and decorators for decades”…and difficult to find.
