This is a magnificent antique French mirror in the Louis XV Rococo style. The highly decorated frame is an asymmetrical design and has small flowers, curls and undulating forms flowing and adorning it with no two swirls repeating. The rich patina is the original gold leaf where some of the beautiful deep red undertones can be seen coming through. It’s made of wood with the decorative accents applied with a rare and unique technique. Overall it’s is in excellent condition and is a stunning old piece. Paris, circa 1920. See less
