We are selling this great carved marble sculpture. This 19th century sculpture is probably after a Greek or Roman original, we're not sure the model but the bird on the arm could imply an allegory of peace. The marble is probably a 19th century Grand Tour example but is well carved with wear and restorations and losses. Perfect for a garden setting.
Condition: Several areas of restoration and repair as well as losses. Heavy surface wear from being outside.
