The Mid Century Organic Modernist style ashtray bowls are made in The United States in The Mid Twentieth Century by Heath Ceramics. The Minimalist round bowl forms with tapered both slots are beautiful in the opaque white on white glazed interior and exterior with subtle chocolate brown matte finish trim design details.

Heath Ceramics is an American pottery company founded iN Sausalito California in 1948 by Edith and Brian Heath beat known for its handcrafted ceramic tableware and architectural tile in distinctive glazes. The Modernist style studio pottery designed by Edith was sold by exclusive retailers and at the Heath showroom in Sausalito beginning in the late 1940's. The award winning designs have been created for notable collaborations with famous restaurants, institutions, designers, and museums.
