This ca 1870 walnut washstand is such a unique and versatile antique piece!
Sturdy solid wood construction, beautifully carved bulbous fruit detail, elaborate Knapp joinery, and racetrack drawer molding reflect the quality and style of fine Victorian craftsmanship.
This functional piece offers plenty of convenient storage space in the pull-out drawer and behind the two cabinet doors, with a convenient shelf in the middle.
This washstand can be easily moved from one room to another on casters and secured in place by engaging the brakes on the two front ones. What an excellent candidate for being made into a powder room sink cabinet!
