Set in the original carved gilt frames, these beautiful antique paintings were created in France, circa 1770. The first composition titled "la lecon de dessin", features a woman being taught how to paint. The second artwork, "lecon de musique", depicts a woman taking a piano lesson. These art works beautifully illustrate women in the art industry, and possess an excellent quality with rich colors. A plaque with N. Lavreince (1737-1807) is attached to the frames.
