Set of three watercolors by New York plein-air watercolorist, Stanley C. Brodey (1920 - 2001, Long Island, New York).
Brodey drew inspiration from his native Long Island scenery, capturing the shoreline, beach scenes, architecture, and fields.
He was involved in many artist associations on Long Island, and showed regularly at galleries nationwide.
A pinnacle moment in his career was showing at the 1964 New York World's Fair.
His work is included in the prestigious private collections of DuPont, Rockefeller, J.P. Morgan, to name a few.
This whimsical, colorful set of houseboat watercolors was made around 1963 and includes works entitled "Houseboat," and "Boat."
Soiling / edge losses / general wear to the original mats (most of which can be concealed by the addition of a frame).
All are artist signed and measure (inclusive of mats): H: 6.75"x L: 8.75" x D: 0.063"
