Jouve visited zoos all over the world, observing lions, tigers and panthers.
His drawings, perfect in their anatomical accuracy, strongly evoke the suppleness, the nobility of wildcats.
His stroke, naturalist at first, will evolve towards the stylization that fits perfectly in the Art Deco aesthetic.
