Original drawing in watercolor ink, graphite, and pastel. "Out of the Woods" is an original abstract drawing in watercolor ink, graphite, and pastel. Tall, looping graphite lines rise through the composition like saplings reaching for light, while bold masses of black, golden ochre, and vivid chartreuse suggest dense undergrowth with sun breaking through the canopy. Washes of pale green and gray soften the edges, giving the whole piece a sense of movement — of pushing through the thicket and emerging into open air. Signed at lower right.
