All of our rugs are cleaned in a professional rug laundry. The first step of cleaning is the thorough knocking of the rug to remove dust and, if necessary, mites. The subsequent prime was removed with a pH-neutral soap. During the main wash, the rug is washed through and through wet - a special soap protects the fibers and receives the natural wool fat of the rugs. Mechanical pressing and spinning is first drainage, so that the rugs are then dried hanging with permanent circulating air. See less
