This vintage mid 20th century landscape lithograph (offset) depicts Chichester, England after the watercolor by the listed 19th century British artist W. Hyams. Hyams was known for his landscapes. Please view our other listings frojm this series. Dimensions: 12.5"W x 16"H.
William Hyams (1878-1952 was born in Portsmouth, England but spent his childhood in Guernsey. Studied at Brighton School of Art. Spent some years at sea which gave him the opportunity to paint marine subjects. Exhibited at the R.A., R.I., in the provinces, and abroad. Represented in Brighton and Hove Art Galleries. Painted many Sussex scenes, and was Chairman of the Brighton Arts Club in 1947.
