Important large wall shelving system in oak and teakwood designed by Børge Mogensen in 1956. This rare and early edition was made at cabinetmaker Erhard Rasmussen before the production was taken over by Fredericia Stolefabrik. The three top shelves are made of oak and the lower shelf of teakwood. The lower shelf can be used as a desk as it is wider than the other shelves. This is a very elegant and space saving feature of this system and very typical typical of Børge Mogensen's functional and beautiful design. Wear consistent with age and use. Very good condition with few signs of wear. Refinished by Danish Cabinetmaker. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
