Brutalist styled wall art by Stephen Chun. The details and craftsmanship are wonderful. Using copper and brass formed around wood, this piece has multiple layers, textures and contrasts.
This piece was sold originally at the Gallery Hawaii in Honolulu. It has the original documentation on the back of the work.
Chun was born in China in 1949. He went to art school and was drawn to metal working. His work was shown in China, Taiwan and Hawaii. Gallery Hawaii was where his work was sold exclusively in the beginning in the United States.
