Artfully processed in Austria around 1790, this beautiful Trumeau impresses with its outstanding set herringbone veneer work and inlayed nutwood and ebonized fruitwood stripes. This extraordinary over 230 year old Trumeau commode from a manorial property, offers two doors and a drawer, which can only be opened when the doors are open. A classical hand-polished shellac finish preserves the marvellous veneered surfaces and perfectly accentuates the ornated pattern. The lovely, still original brass fittings finalize the unique look of this valuable masterpiece from the late 18th century. See less
