Pair of rare lounge chairs by Yngve Ekström for Swedese, circa 1970. This model is a great example of the robust pine furniture era that grew popular in Sweden in the late 1960s. The chairs are made of thick solid pine with rectangular shapes. Condition: The chairs have been completely sanded down and are sold untreated, to receive a beautiful patina in the future, suiting this type of furniture. The elastic straps are new and the black leather cushions are not original, but vintage and fit the chairs. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
