Rare Yasha Heifetz Mounted Lavender Glazed Ceramic Nautilus Shell Lamp, Circa 1950s. A beautiful biomorphic rendering of a nautilus shell with mottled surface, glazed in shades of lavender and cool gray. The glaze selection helps to accentuate the soft form as it drips and pools in the central incised spiral. Mounted on an ebonized wood base with the same technique applied to the wood neck. Paired with a black orb wood finial. Shown paired with a conical fabric shade, sold WITHOUT shade.
Signed “Heifetz” on the rear of the wood base.
