About the piece: This passenger manifest was used by the Compagnie Generale Transatlantique (General Transatlantic Company) in 1963.
The Compagnie Generale Transatlatinque was founded in 1861 and was known overseas as the "French Line". In its present iteration, it is known as "CMA CGM S.A.," and it is the third largest container company in the world.
