This Still Life of Poppies in Vessels, has so many Mid Century Era,stylistic features, from the abstract Bernard Buffet like flowers, to the geometric angular vases and the randomly skewed, vertical, white, scored lines in the background.

The background and composition have a very high-end, subtle, modernist, Asian style.

However, all of the modernist elements combined, does not pigeon hole the piece as only Asian, and would compliment a myriad of interior decors.

The artwork has the original, brushed chrome metal frame, which is in beautiful condition.

Note: The vase, on the right, has a lighter circular area. This is how it was painted, it is not faded, stained nor damaged.

Overall, the painting is in amazing condition, for over 75 plus years old. (I should look so good!)
