This is a country made piece with a ton of charm and small idiosyncrasies that you’d never find in a master cabinet shop working at the highest level. The column is well proportioned and has a nice turning pattern at the plinth. The thighs of the legs lack the body you’d find on a more sophisticated table but the curves are well executed with a slender raised ankle. The base has an unconventional iron spider reinforcing the legs that’s made from 3 pieces of cut sheet metal fastened in with rose head nails. The table has a 19” diameter at the base and is 26 1/2” tall. The top measures 17” wide x 16 3/4” deep. See less
