The French term “églomisé” was created to describe reverse-painted glass. In this instance, the French first carved a fanciful naturalist vine-like design in the back of the glass and then filled that with a yellow-gold paint (or other colored substance), then mirroring the entire surface after adding an abstract design. The result, as you see, is “pure art.”
The wrought iron table itself has a lovely verdigris patina. The design on the glass top, as you can see in the overhead photo, has been somewhat compromised around the edges, perhaps water damage. The mirrored top is reflecting some of the white ceiling in the room where the photos were taken; this area is most representative of how the tabletop appears in "reality". The gold-yellow color in the vines motif is more assertive than in the photos.. The glass top is so abundantly decorated that the losses on the edges are hard to notice.
This table is ideally suitable as a coffee table if used in the home, but it could be lovely in the garden, brought out for special occasions. In any event, a fab addition!
Dimensions: the tabletop measures 23 ¼ by 12 ½ (including the legs, the overall dimensions are 16 ¼ by 28); the height of the table is 15 ¾.
Some minor scratching on the top of the glass, extremely difficult to notice (with so much else going on!).

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
