These doors are actually very heavy and the wood is very thick. I can imagine these doors being the front entryway to a home located outside the property. They would look wonderful is garden gates or as interior French doors. Originally somebody had added a solid panel behind them to give the look of solid doors but I think it makes these doors more prominent as architectural elements rather than solid doors. These doors were salvaged out of a 1920 Spanish style home that was adorned with beautiful Spanish elements throughout the entirety of the house. See less

I am I only noticed one spot on the wood molding. They have been painted on one side overtime but I think that the original raw wood finish really captivates Spanish Revival in every way and you could have them stripped down. less
