Based on my extensive but still limited research. Rather than Edinburg, it resembles the Exterior Hallmark of the year 1843. Later versions of this wine coaster have what appears to be a CP and M, the second marker resembles a weathered one of the lion of silver versus copper, not solid Sterling. PM remaining, a possibility, the maker is Corbell, but still is consistent and most resembles the lettering of the mid 19th century. Quite interesting possibilities. See less
