Designed by Berlin luminary Daniel Becker and handmade to order using modern and midcentury manufacturing techniques, the Emily Series won the prestigious German Design Award 2019. The high quality sheet steel shades are cut, bent, formed, welded and sanded by hand in a complex process to build natural, organic shapes before they are painted semi-matte anthracite and fitted with opaline PMMA diffusers. Then they are arranged in a mobile like fashion around a sculptural frame of waxed oak timber. This new 'Vertikal' version of Becker's iconic design is better fitted for vertical spaces such as staircases, where a long and narrow installation is needed.

Price per item. Shades available in glossy black (RAL 9005) as well as a semi-matte finish in anthracite (RAL 7021) or white (RAL 9003). Frame available in choice of natural or black oak.
