This has a wonderfully tactile incised surface with a turquoise/ teal glaze with deep brown speckling, interior is an oatmeal color with speckles. This is signed and dated 71'. It also has NJC for Northeastern Junior College, Brown was a professional ceramicist based in Northeastern Colorado, I think he was likely working as an instructor at NJC at the time this was made.
