Brüder Podbira's art deco glass vase with gold gilded grid decoration was heavily influenced by the work of Josef Hoffmann and Wiener Werkstätte, and was created in 1930's Czechoslovakia. The base is marked "Czechoslovakia".
It stands 7" high. The flared top measures 5 3/4" acros. The base is 4" across. The glass is very lightly frosted with a thick gold accent line on the pedestal base. It is absolutely stunning condition with no chips or cracks.
