Available for sale this modern impressionist style acrylic painting on canvas by listed Berlin artist Peter Robert Keil depicts an abstract female portrait . Beautiful salmon background, black abstract portrait and showered with many colors. Here you certainly see the Jackson Pollack inspired addition. Attractive design piece with matte finish. Unframed.
Influenced by German Expressionism and graffiti elements, Keil is known for his simplified abstractions of traditional art subjects. He studied under Otto Nagel at a young age and developed relationships with other renowned artists such as Joan Miró. As Keil abandoned realism and developed his signature style, he used more vibrant colors rapidly applied with large gestural brushstrokes resembling the abstract style of Picasso.
