This boujad is a vintage Berber carpet, which consists of high quality new wool and recycled textiles – soft and cozy under your feet. Our Berber carpets are hand-tied, one knot after the other. Every Berber carpet is a long-lasting unique piece, sustainably made with local new wool.
- Vintage Berber carpet, Boujad
-Age: 30-40 years
- Handmade
- New wool
- Made in Morocco, Middle Atlas Mountains
All of our carpets are cleaned in a professional carpet laundry. The first step of cleaning is the thorough knocking of the carpet to remove dust and, if necessary, mites. The subsequent prime was removed with a pH-neutral soap. During the main wash, the carpet is washed through and through wet - a special soap protects the fibers and receives the natural wool fat of the carpets. The first drainage is carried out by machine pressing and spinning, so that the carpets are then dried with permanent circulating air
