This Really is a Beautiful and Very Unusual Art Deco Style Silverplate & Blue French Enamel Set of Mechanical Ice Tongs. Vintage - Circa Early to Mid 20th Century. Classic Cocktail Bar - Ice Bucket Accessory. They function very much like holding a syringe. By pushing down or releasing the spring loaded round top - button the claws open wider to grab or release an ice cube. These Fine Quality Tongs are Signed - Made by the Well Documented Norwegian Maker Aksel Holmsen. They are in Excellent Cosmetic and Functional Condition. Note! That the blue translucent french enamel ( Glass ) Is in absolutely perfect condition - no chips - no cracks.
