This eye-catching handwoven oval lidded basket radiates Boho chic charm! Handcrafted from rattan; split bamboo splints have been interwoven into the pattern creating visually interesting appeal. The forked split bamboo handle has also been incorporated into the weave providing structure and stability to the basket. In excellent condition with minimal wear. Earthy coloring is simply the natural honeyed hues of aged rattan and bamboo. This cutie measures 12” x 6” x 7½” H/W/D; interior 6¼” x 3½” W/H; weight 7 oz. Unknown maker. It hails from the late mid-century, 1970s. If you’re a passionate collector of mid-century baskets, this cutie should be a must have!
