This beauty has all the elements – biomorphic shapes, zany and forward-looking materials among them. That flash of cobalt-electric blue color on the base… knockout material!

I presume it’s of mid-century manufacture. Except the shade, of course, which I’ve had made for it. Note the texture of the shade’s paper, and those fun little hash marks all over it.

I’ve rewired it with an appropriately see-through (Lucite-like) cord, keeping with the theme. There’s a standard-based socket which can take any wattage bulb you care to employ.

In excellent condition, no issues whatsoever.

I’ll have to use either a gigantic box to ship it with the shade, or two boxes; in either case this will be expensive. So it goes…

Measurements: the base is (about) 8 ½ by 5 ½ and overall height is 22 ¼ to the top of the chrome finial. The bottom of the shade measures about 17 inch across. See less
