Colorful and nicely executed painting of the canals of Venice by noted artist, author and illustrator Susenne Telage.
This lovely and unique painting has collage elements of gold foil, flowers and ephemera included in the watercolor on illustration board and is circa 2010. It wonderfully captures and conveys the feel of a gondola ride in Venice with the gondolier singing at the top of his lungs with two lovely ladies enjoying their ride down the canal in Venice, Italy.

The artist currently lives in Avon Colorado and has been a prolific painter and illustrator for many years. She has been an artist for her entire life and was instructed as a child by her mother and grandmothers. She was an instructor in and around Houston, Texas and was president of the Watercolor Art Society - Houston, before moving to Colorado.
