Original Buchara carpet from the 1930s. The carpets come from the city of Buchara in today's Uzbekistan (previously Turkmenistan). The city is located on the legendary silk road, which makes the carpets a coveted collector's pieces.

All of our carpets are cleaned in a professional carpet laundry. The first step of cleaning is the thorough knocking of the carpet to remove dust and, if necessary, mites. The subsequent prime was removed with a pH-neutral soap. During the main wash, the carpet is washed through and through wet - a special soap protects the fibers and receives the natural wool fat of the carpets. Mechanical pressing and spinning is first drainage, so that the carpets are then dried hanging with permanent circulating air.
