Add this hard to find monumental lidded jar, canister, vase to your collection today or gift it as a birthday or housewarming gift to your favorite Bitossi Flavia collector. Mid Century Modern in design, fits perfectly with 50's or 60's Eames era decor. Harvest gold color, accented with pumpkin orange and avocado green paisley painted over sgraffito incised red clay.
Measures: 18 1/2" tall to top of lid x 6 1/2" diameter at the widest point by 4 3/4 diameter at the base.
This elegant piece is typical of the work of Bitossi. From the artistic wing of Bitossi called Flavia, where Aldo Londi, was Art Director from 1946. Based in Montelupo, Tuscany, Bitossi exported pieces from Italy under Raymor and Rosenthal Netter labels.
Circa: 1950-1970. There is an impressed ITALY into the glazed bottom, along with the numbers 69/1A.
