This technique uses hot wax applied from the canting's tiny, downward-curved spouts onto the cloth and then painted. Attributed to the Japanese artist, M. Yono, considered a master of this process. The painting features abstract vegetation with butterfly shaped leaves in a colorful palette of blues, lavender and sand..
