Made from a reddish wood, possibly mahogany. This carved wooden spoon hails from Zambia where it was purchased in the 80s. The wood has a substantial thickness. It is in very good vintage condition with some shallow cracks. The carved head on the end of the handle shows fine details.
It measures 10.25" long x 2.25" wide (at the widest) x 1.25" deep (at the deepest)
What a cool conversation piece this would make.
