  • "Hi Milena, were you ever able to take photos of my stuff framed? If not then that's fine... but if so , can I see 'em?"

    Oct. 10, 2017, 6:32 p.m.

  • "Milena L.: Hey Milena, that's great! I look forward to seeing the pix. Enjoy your paintings and thanks again! Geoff"

    Feb. 19, 2017, 3:10 p.m.

  • "Hi Geoff we are in the process of getting your works framed at a local art gallery --- they special in showcasing local artists here in Canada. I will send you photos of the works framed in a couple of weeks. The owners send complaiments to you regarding your work. We will keep watching your work. Take care"

    Feb. 19, 2017, 1:13 p.m.

  • "Yes, a simple floating frame is probably best - it allows the "paper quality" of a piece to shine, yet still looks very clean and incisive, a good balance."

    Feb. 2, 2017, 5:16 p.m.

  • "Milena L.: Your package went out around noon yesterday (Pacific time) via UPS with tracking# 1ZW59F290399737091"

    Feb. 2, 2017, 10:07 a.m.

  • "Thanks for you understanding; we should not have conducted business that way. Your painting will be hung in our sunroom (birch/moon) and the white birch in our bedroom. We will take photos and send to you once we frame them. Our thought was a simple black floating frame. Would you agree? Thanks again and we will enjoy your work. Take care."

    Feb. 1, 2017, 11:50 a.m.

  • "Dear Milena, no hard feelings, I just couldn't figure out what was going on. I will accept the offer and pack both pictures in one package for you. Hope you enjoy your paintings and I always appreciate any "on site" photos of my work in its new home! Geoff"

    Feb. 1, 2017, 9:43 a.m.

  • "Sorry Geoff I should have given you a heads up. A bit of a crazy day yesterday at the office. You are right and there is nothing wrong, in fact the price you offered is more than fair for the quality and size of your work. After exchange, framing etc, this all that we can budget. I countered to $400 we understand if thats not acceptable. No intention to low ball and I hope no ill will created."

    Feb. 1, 2017, 4:28 a.m.

  • "Milena L.: Glad to hear from you. I have marked the other painting free shipping and my counter offer will fulfill our agreement of yesterday. I do not understand why your bid was significantly lower than our agreement but I feel that a $150 discount on the first and $200 discount on the second painting is fair and what we agreed on. Again, if you have a concern you should please inform me as to what it might be (?) At any rate, I'm glad to hear from you and glad you got "White Birch and Flowers". Geoff"

    Jan. 31, 2017, 6:20 p.m.

  • "Hello Milena, Everything is now set up the way we talked about but I haven't heard back from you - just wondering what's going on. If there's another problem please let me know and we'll get it worked out. Best regards, Geoff"

    Jan. 30, 2017, 6:25 p.m.

  • "Dear Milena, Okay, finally got it worked out! "White Birch with Full Moon" has free shipping and "White Birch and Flowers" ships in a tube. So go ahead and make a $400 offer on each one and I'll accept. I will pack your paintings tonight and hopefully get them off to you tomorrow. I'm so glad we could get this worked out - and anyway, don't worry, Chairish does not gouge their collectors on shipping costs. All the best, Geoff"

    Jan. 30, 2017, 12:16 p.m.

  • "Milena L.: Here's the reply I just got from Chairish: Thanks for reaching out to us. We'll loop in our fulfillment team on Monday, and they'll advise regarding updating this listing to UPS shipping. Thanks again! XOXO Team Chairish So we'll do everything tomorrow - sorry for the delay but once we get rolling it will go smoothly. Geoff"

    Jan. 29, 2017, 2:07 p.m.

  • "Dear Milena, I have contacted Chairish and I'm sure they will fix this problem. I don't know exactly what they will recommend but they are very good at fixing glitches and usually very quick at getting back with answers. I will contact you immediately when I know what to do."

    Jan. 29, 2017, 10:55 a.m.

  • "Dear Milena, I'll contact Chairish about the shipping. They usually respond within a day to questions/problems, so I'll get back to you as soon as I have an answer. Geoff"

    Jan. 29, 2017, 10:34 a.m.

  • "Were ready to go Geoff, but when we go to make the bid and pick delivery. method all we have as an option is white glove. Once we have the tube option and assigned price we will make the offer. Thanks"

    Jan. 29, 2017, 6:09 a.m.

  • "Sorry, didn't see this one! Yes, I have a piece in the Brooklyn Museum permanent collection, a painting from the 1980s called "The Good Doctor". It was exhibited as part of a collection when the collector died back in 2003 but I don't know whether it's been shown since."

    Jan. 28, 2017, 9:48 p.m.

  • "Dear Milena, That's fair, I will accept $800 for both paintings (White Birch and Flowers and White Birch With Full Moon) Make your offer through Chairish. When I accept, they will e-send a label (I'll mention the double packing) I can drop the package off as soon as it's packed and get it on the way posthaste. I'm very glad we could come to an agreement and hope you enjoy your paintings! All the best, Geoff"

    Jan. 28, 2017, 9:44 p.m.

  • "Sorry Geoff one last question, has your art been exhibited in the Brooklyn Museum?"

    Jan. 28, 2017, 8:36 p.m.

  • "Hi Greg, if you would take $800 for the two, we will put in an offer in the a.m. California Pale is amazing but we are not in the same ball park --- its wonderful just out of our budget. Your work is fantastic, hopefully they will find a home here in Canada. Have a good night."

    Jan. 28, 2017, 8:25 p.m.

  • "Whew! Ran out of characters before. Please let me know what you think about this offer - I love to sell my work and am amenable to negotiation as long as we're in the same ballpark. I also wanted to make sure you are talking about "White Birch and Flowers" as the picture you wrote me from is called "Trees and Tulips". Again, thanks and please let me know what you are thinking? Geoff"

    Jan. 28, 2017, 2:13 p.m.

  • "Hi! Everything's on paper so can ship in a mailing tube, all in one if you purchase together. I can't quote an exact price - Chairish handles shipping labels - but I will pack them myself and ship UPS which will be much cheaper than "white glove". I can offer a 25% discount across the board. If you purchase WB&Flowers and WBwFull Moon ($1150 US) I can offer them for $862 total. If you purchase California Pale also (total $1950 US) then your total will be $1462 US. That I hope it's good for you!"

    Jan. 28, 2017, 11:48 a.m.

  • "Thanks very much Geoff. We really like the White Birch and Flowers and White Birch With Full Moon. Question: Can both of these works be shipped in a secure tube? If so do you have an idea of shipping. Also if we take two, would you be acceptable to a discounted price -- we are from Canada so our dollar gives us a 25% hit. Last question, and we are serious if we took a third, California Pale, could it be shipped in a tube and again would you move more if we bought all three. Lots of questions, sorry."

    Jan. 28, 2017, 11:08 a.m.

  • "Milena L.: Thank you for your kind words, they are much appreciated! The answers to your questions are yes I am the artist and yes this original painting on acid-free watercolor paper is signed. By the way, this piece does not require "white glove" shipping and can be sent to you in a secure mailing tube which is much cheaper. Best regards, Geoff Greene"

  • "Are you the artist? If so is this an original work and signed. If the answer is yes and yes, lovely work."
