His castings were done in concrete, … Read more This sculptural, plaster work is a riff on Constantino Nivola's mid-20th century sand castings. His castings were done in concrete, but I prefer plaster. I like the effect of texture on light and shadow in pieces like this, so I added some in the body and frame. The frame is an integrated element of the piece and this work comes with hanging hardware installed. See less
