The technique uses hot wax applied from the canting's tiny, downward-curved spouts onto the cloth and then painted by the Japanese artist, M. Yono, considered a master of this process. This composition features abstract vegetation with a dragonfly and butterfly in a colorful palette of turquoise, soft blue, sienna, peach and cream. Signed by the artist on the lower right. Nicely framed under glass with a double mat and a brown wooden frame. See less
