Super cool piece of art pottery by Will Herrera of Maui, circa 1977...the year he established his studio.
Funky cool animal figural covered dish, a beautifully crafted piece featuring a giraffe head (and neck!) as the handle to the domed cover, which fits nicely onto the base. The piece is finished in a subtle blue/grey to green glazing.
Measures 8"x 8.25". In excellent, undamaged condition with age-related crazing to plate/base. Signed and dated within foot.
