Petite vintage watercolor portrait painting of a beautiful young woman circa 1930-1940. Executed on heavy ivory art paper stock in a slightly abstracted style, from a portfolio of work from the estate of American 20th C. artist, Ruth Fulda Wacker. Unsigned. The sitter's straightforward fixed gaze has a riveting quality, and we love the overall moody feel achieved through the use of dark indigo blue for the ground color and the shadows cast across the right side of her face.
The new ivory mat will fit any 9" x 9" frame of your choice. Mat opening view area measures 5" x 5".
