Two original watercolor on paper designs for possibly handkerchiefs (?) by Dorothie Coombes, British artist and designer from 1914 through the 1920's. One design is 11 1/4" x 11 1/4", the other is 10 5/8" x 10 3/4", both are unsigned. The blue Bell Flower design has two smallish spot of foxing.
The designs are matted with Museum matboard, corresponding color lines and museum backing.
They make a lovely, delicate pair.
