This early blank box has base red paint that appears to be original, the eagle which is the Seal of The President of the United States was probably added later in the 20th century. We believe the box to be 19th century or earlier and probably from Pennsylvania, it does also have replaced hinges.

Condition: Eagle was added later. Hinges have been replaced. General age wear and splitting to the wood.
