He was made to be a footstool or ottoman. Possibly a seat for a small child. There is an Iron support grid underneath that is very sturdy. He is as neat as they get. Great printed decoration all over. This is vintage circa 1950s. His steiff button is missing or I’m unable to locate on his body. See less
